This project is the result of my conflicting love for Marc Lou's Shipfast Boilerplate and Ruby on Rails. I could not find a boilerplate for Indie Makers on the Rails stack, so I built my own.

The process was quite straightforward. I looked at all my projects over the past four years and gathered the most common commits into an easy-to-use Ruby on Rails Boilerplate. Lightning Rails focuses on doing all the repetitive tasks and pre-loads a 100% free tech stack, all so you can build MVPs as fast and cheaply as possible.
